The Muslim Brotherhood's chairman Dr Mohamed Badie congratulated the Egyptian team after winning the African Cup of Nations for the third straight year with a narrow 1-0 win over battling Ghana .

The Muslim Brotherhood's chairman Dr Mohamed Badie congratulated the Egyptian team after winning the African Cup of Nations for the third straight year with a narrow 1-0 win over battling Ghana . Substitute Mohamed Gedo scored the crucial goal five minutes from time, curling in a shot from within the area to give Egypt its record seventh title.

 

Badie commended the team players, staff and manager of the skilful and well planned tactics. He asserted that commitment and decorum was the key of their success. The Chairman advised them that piousness, self control, discipline and conscience would always result in success which will ultimately please Allah.
