67 nominees excluded from Shura elections
The higher committee for elections has completed the formation of the public commissions for elections for the Shura Council; and chosen the judges and members of the judiciary to oversee the electoral process.
Chairman of the Committee, Chancellor Intisar Naseem, has announced that 9 supervisors will be responsible for overseeing the elections. He added that 67 candidates have been excluded from elections since nomination papers were unsatisfactory or missing. However, no names have been announced as yet.
