In expression of support of the Syrian people facing brutal  crackdowns, a conference will organized by the Arab activists onTuesday August 16 at  al-Azhar Conferences center, the main hall.

Distinguished guests from Jordan, Kuwait and other Arab nations including politicians, businessmen, poets and celebrities are to attend the event titled "Egypt and Syria, One body."

Members from the Syrian opposition, Syrian Revolutionary  youth, and Kuwaiti' parliament will also be present at the conference which will begin at 5 pm.

Celebrities Yehya Howa and Moataem Bellah Aseely will perform  in support of the Syrian people.

Organizers are hoping the conference will demonstrate their full Arab support of the Syrian people in face of massacres  and shedding of the innocent blood at the hands of brutal regime.

A statement by the conference organizers obtained by Ikhwanweb stressed "It was significant that the Syrians realize the Egyptian and the Arab people full support of their uprising against the massacres, injustice and tyranny. We declare our full solidarity with our people in Syria, and declare that Egypt and Syria, is one body."
