Badie Congratulates Palestine After UNESCO Approves Membership
Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Chairman Dr. Mohamed Badie, congratulated the Palestinian people on the announcement made by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Monday, approving full membership for Palestine.

 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Chairman Dr. Mohamed Badie, congratulated the Palestinian people on the announcement made by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Monday, approving full membership for Palestine.

 
He stated, “This decision is a step forward for the Palestinians to achieve what is rightfully theirs. It is also a significant phase for the Muslims and Christians to preserve their heritage and sanctities in the occupied land of Palestine."

Badie, called on UNESCO to take the necessary measures to stop the Judaization of Jerusalem and the destruction of its holy sites. He urged the organization to perform its role and address the Israeli’s destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque especially as Palestine has now become an official member.
