A delegation from the Freedom and Justice Party’s (FJP) public relations committee met with renowned musician Ammar Al-Sherey, Friday in an effort to increase interaction between artists and the community.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s (MB), modern producer, director, writer and Art Committee official, Sayed Darwish and Samir Al-Waseemy head of the FJP’s public relations in Cairo, and Dr. Mohamed Elzeiny were among the delegation which met with Al-Sherey.

Discussions included MB's vision regarding art. Al-Sherey expressed his admiration stating: “It is pleasing to see the MB’s insight and moderate approach regarding arts”.

Speaking to Ikhwanweb Darwish stressed: “These meetings are among a series of intended conventions in an effort to explain the MB’s clear outlook concerning arts and entertainment. The MB supports progress and objectivity in the Egyptian Arts sector in the future and hopes to restore Egypt’s lost art following years of negligence by the former corrupt regime”.
