FJP MP Heads to Chicago to Promote Tourism in Egypt

 Luxor’s newly elected MP from the Freedom and Justice Party’s (FJP), Dr. Abdul Mowgood Rageh Al-Dardeery, headed to Chicago to attend a four day conference in a bid to promote the tourism industry in Luxor, Egypt.


According to Hussein Abu Dakil, spokesman for the FJP in Luxor, Al-Dardeery will be meeting with over 20 tourist agencies and companies. “Al-Dardeery met with Luxor’s governor who advised him on which companies to address before travelling to the U.S.”, he said.

Al-Dardeery had asserted that he will focus on the tourism sector in Luxor describing it as a priority which will pave the way for Egypt’s development and progress. During a recent seminar in Luxor, the MP had vowed that he will work on restoring the rights of the sector’s employees and tourist guides in addition to combating monopoly of the industry by numerous companies and the establishment of projects to boost tourism.
