Manal Abul Hassan Calls for Immediate Investigation into the Assault on Nawara Negm and Punishing Perpetrators
Dr. Manal Abul Hassan, Secretary General of the Freedom and Justice Party's (FJP) Women's Committee in Cairo, slammed the recurring violence against women, attributing it to the corrupt security system which needs serious a firm efforts to reform it.

 Dr. Manal Abul Hassan, Secretary General of the Freedom and Justice Party's (FJP) Women's Committee in Cairo, slammed the recurring violence against women, attributing it to the corrupt security system which needs serious a firm efforts to reform it.

 
In a press statement, Abul Hassan stressed that the attacks on Egyptian activist Nawara Negm must be speedily investigated and perpetrators tried and punished.
 
 
"The rights of women and freedom of speech are red lines that must not to crossed and should not be sacrificed under any circumstances. Preserving these rights retained during the revolution is a responsibility we must all bear. Taking a pro-active part in supporting them will definitely help pave the way towards stability, resulting in a safer nation and genuine social justice", she added.
