Muslim Brotherhood Chairman Badie Receives French Ambassador
Seeking to deepen and extend relations between France and Egypt, the French Ambassador visits Brotherhood leader Badie at the group’s headquarters in Cairo.

Dr. Mohamed Badie, Muslim Brotherhood Chairman, received at his office Tuesday Nicolas Gallet, the French Ambassador in Cairo.

The French ambassador expressed his thanks to Dr. Badie for this visit, his first since coming to Cairo, to exchange views and suggestions for ways to further deepen relations between the Egyptian and French peoples and between their respective public institutions.

For his part, the leader of the Brotherhood thanked the French ambassador for his visit, and highlighted the depth of relations between the Egyptian and French peoples, and hoped to boost cooperation between all civil society institutions and organizations in both countries.

Dr. Badie expressed the hope that the ambassador’s term in Cairo would witness a major leap in relations between the two countries on all popular and official levels.
