In a statement on the latest developments in Iraq, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood condemned the heinous bombings on Friday (May 17) in the city of Baquba.

The Brotherhood condemned the brutal crimes that claimed the lives of innocent unarmed citizens and wounded many others.

Further, the Brotherhood demanded a halt to the bloodshed that has afflicted Iraq for ten years now, with no regard for human life, blood or human rights.

The Muslim Brotherhood warned that no-one should underestimate the latest events, paid tribute to the families of the martyrs and to the free people of Iraq, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
