Katatni: FJP Follows Closely Sinai Security Efforts to Free Kidnapped Soldiers

Dr. Mohamed Saad Katatni, Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Chairman, said he is closely following intensive efforts as well as military and security moves in the North Sinai governorate to free seven abducted soldiers.

In an official statement Tuesday, the FJP expressed deep appreciation for all the efforts carried out by the armed forces and the security services, under the supervision of Egypt’s political leadership, to secure the return of kidnapped soldiers.

"The FJP reaffirms its full support for these efforts, and calls on national forces and political parties to support the political leadership and the armed forces and to stand as one upholding the best interests of our beloved homeland Egypt.

"The FJP also confirms its confidence in the ability of the political leadership, the armed forces and security agencies to take actions and measures necessary to protect the homeland and the citizens. The FJP further stresses the importance of acting firmly, strongly and decisively against anyone who may attempt to undermine the sovereignty of the State and its institutions."
