The Muslim Brotherhood mourns the death of a good reformer and leader, the son of its founder the martyr Imam Hassan Al-Banna.

We mourn, with all sadness, the good brother Ahmed Seif Al-Islam Hassan Al-Banna, a man of great stature in legal and parliamentary arenas, and former Secretary-General of the Bar Association, who passed away today (Friday – February 5, 2015).

May God accept the good work of Al-Bannas, who never weakened, cowered or hesitated in defending this forbearing nation.

May God have mercy on Imam Hassan Al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, and his son who passed today. May He accept them in Paradise with true believers and martyrs.

"Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return."
