Press Release: Aqrab Detainees Hunger Strike Inspires Revolutionaries Across Egypt

Political prisoners steadfast behind the bars of injustice and despotism in Aqrab prison continue today (Saturday) - with their hunger strike – their epic defense of the Revolution and the freedom of the proud and patriotic Egyptian people. They suffer all types of brutal torture and deprivation of food, medicine and even air at the hands of the treasonous coup regime executioners. Those detainees are certainly the crown, the pride and honor of the nation, and the warriors who will wrest its rights and freedom.

To the patriotic political detainees in Aqrab prison…

Your perseverance and steadfastness as you face death inspires the men and women of the Revolution in the squares and streets everywhere across the homeland Egypt, and shames the laggards, the defeatists and those who have almost lost hope.

We fully support you. We will never forget you for one moment. Your steadfastness and perseverance expose complicit human rights advocates around the world. We pray to God to protect you, grant you more strength, resolve and resilience, and grant the Egyptian people's Revolution the ultimate victory against the traitorous junta and its illegitimate coup regime.
