 The Muslim Brotherhood mourns the Islamic thinker Dr Hassan Al-Turabi, one of the most prominent Islamist scholars and politicians and head of the Popular Congress Party in Sudan, who passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016.


Dr Turabi, 84, died after a long journey of political and religious endeavors and achievements.

We ask Allah, the Almighty, to grant him a great reward for all his good work for his homeland and the nation, and to accept him in highest paradise, with the Prophets and martyrs.

The Muslim Brotherhood offers its sincere condolences to Sudan, to Dr Turabi's family, his students, followers and loved ones.
"Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return."
