Muslim Brotherhood Mourns Renowned Scholar Mohamed Al-Rawi

 The Muslim Brotherhood mourns the great scholar Sheikh Mohamed Al-Rawi, who passed away at dawn on Friday, at the age of 89 years. His funeral was held in Al-Azhar mosque after Friday prayers.


Sheikh Al-Rawi was a member of Azhar's Supreme Council of Scholars, a member of the Islamic Research Academy, one of the pioneers of interpretation of the Holy Quran, and a renowned presenter of Quran recitations on Egyptian radio.

May God bless the late Rawi with forgiveness and mercy, and inspire his family and his students with patience and fortitude.
