The Muslim Brotherhood extends its sincere congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to the Egyptian people, and to the Muslim nation in all parts of the world.

We congratulate the legitimate President of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, and our leaders and dear brothers, steadfast champions in the prisons of the oppressors, paying the price of freedom for us and the homeland.

We also congratulate the families of the martyrs – from January 25, 2011 to-date – and the families of the innocent patriots, unjustly jailed. Also, we congratulate the revolutionaries – the free men and women of the January 25 Revolution, who have not abandoned liberty squares across the homeland, not for a single day since the treacherous coup. We ask God Almighty to unite our people on the goals of freedom, dignity and justice.
