The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) congratulates Egyptians, Arabs and Muslims on Eid al-Fitr, asking God to liberate Egypt and its people, by defeating the military coup and its illegitimate regime, and reinstating legitimacy and the democratically-elected President Mohamed Morsi.

The FJP hopes for the release of political prisoners from the dark dungeons of the bloody coup junta, praying to God to inspire their families and loved ones with courage and fortitude.

We call on all patriots, all revolutionaries, partners of the Revolution and liberty squares to close ranks and reunite, to lift the injustice off the Egyptian people scorched by the fire of injustice, arbitrary arrests and exorbitantly high prices.

We ask God to restore for the nation its dignity, prestige and leadership, and that our next Eid will come to find all Arab and Muslim peoples free and happy, with Arab Spring Revolutions ultimately triumphant.
