Egypt National Alliance Calls
Egypt National Alliance Calls

In Egypt, the military junta, which viciously takes innocent lives in unjust executions, has given away the Egyptian islands of Tiran and Sanafir. It repeatedly raises the price of fuel, electricity and gas without mercy. Honorable patriots have no choice but to move in defense of the sovereignty of this homeland and the rights of all Egyptians, rejecting the mad price increases, extrajudicial killings and executions of the innocent.

This is a military coup's unjust regime that is absurdly raising prices again on the anniversary of the fateful June 30 (2013) bloody coup. Since that date, the Egyptian people have known nothing but rising prices and tragic crises, as if the coup regime is continuously punishing those who supported it.

This traitorous regime should realize that Egypt's patriots, who stood against it from the very start, will face its madness, betrayals, injustice, oppression, mad price hikes, extrajudicial killings of the innocent and its selling of the homeland's territories.

The homeland and the people are suffering many crushing crises, that compel everyone to review their positions and join the peaceful movement that never stopped since the July 3, 2013 coup against the junta that caused all these disasters. There is no alternative to the ousting of general Sisi and the reinstatement of democratic legitimacy, for the sake of Egypt, not for any political party or group.

The Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance has always warned of the military coup, which has now ruled over Egyptians for four whole years, and of its treachery, high prices and disastrous recklessness. The Alliance calls on all citizens to unite to bring down this coup regime and oust the repressive junta. The Alliance calls for a new protest week under the title "Years of Treachery, Mad Price Hikes" as part of the revolutionary wave "Leave".

There is no alternative to stability and the sovereignty of the homeland, the right of every Egyptian to a dignified life and suitable prices. Every drop of blood shed unjustly and every grain of sand given away illegally are crimes that do not fall under any statute of limitations. These crimes cannot build a homeland or change realities of the people. When the people's rise in anger, again, soon, the oppressors' remorse will not save them from popular wrath.

We record for posterity that the islands of Tiran and Sanafir will remain Egyptian. They will be reclaimed, no matter what happens. All the coup regime and the junta's crimes will not be subject to any statute of limitations; such crimes as the shedding of innocent blood, the taking of innocent lives, arbitrary imprisonment, extrajudicial cold-blooded executions and unjust hounding and prosecution; not to mention crimes like impoverishing the Egyptian people, selling off Egyptian territories, and compromising Egyptian and Arab sovereignty for the benefit of the Zionist enemy in the so-called Deal of the Century, which we reject totally.

We will always work – in hope – for that day when all Egyptians will unite against this brutal coup junta. All the groups that have differed and disputed previously, will soon unite. The demands of the January 2011 Revolution will be heard loud and clear once again, and will be seen by our homeland Egypt in a new era of freedom, dignity and social justice.

This is the time for everyone to defend Egypt and its stability, and its poor. No stability can be achieved with unjust executions or the selling of Egyptian soil. No sovereignty can be protected under the military coup that is destroying the people and trampling their rights, madly and repeatedly and endlessly increasing prices, issuing false verdicts and brutal sentences against the innocent, and spreading false information.

Victory for the Revolution
