Egypt National Alliance Calls "Stop Extrajudicial Killings" Protest Week

IkhwanWeb
The revolutions of the Arab Spring were all about restoring power to oppressed peoples who had long suffered tyranny and corruption from elites who came against the will of the nation and ruled over them, against their will, for decades – until the people were able to rise in those great revolutions to reclaim their right to live, their right to freedom, social justice and human dignity.

The January 2011 Revolution, with other Arab Spring revolutions, revealed the extent of corruption and treachery perpetrated by a corrupt, despotic and destructive ruling group against the region and its peoples, and which is now vigorously seeking to grab power again, against the will of the peoples.

Sisi, Dahlan, Haftar, Ben Zayed and others who are leading the counter-revolutions in the region are the ones who destroy countries, displace peoples, destroy the nation and exploit its wealth in favor of abominable colonization.

Today, the fierce campaign of this criminal gang is growing, convinced that it has stopped the tide of revolution and aborted the peoples' drive for freedom. The gang is escalating its extrajudicial killing of young people, executing dozens in cold blood, thinking it can turn the clock back. But it will fail. Thinking it can trample the will of the people yet again. But it will fail.

The Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance reiterates its adherence to the principles of the January 2011 Revolution; and warns against attempts to undermine or demonize it or to murder young people who believe in it. The Alliance calls on all those who participated in the January Revolution to realize the magnitude of the dangers facing the country, especially in the face of serious attacks on lives, reckless spilling of innocent blood and the killing of innocents and regime opponents under false pretenses.

The Alliance calls on all Egyptians to participate in a fresh week of protests under the title "Stop Extrajudicial Killings", within the revolutionary wave "Leave", as a tribute too all the blood of the martyrs of the Revolution, sacrificed for the people's rights and demands, which will be reclaimed one day soon.

The Alliance also reiterates its support for the rights of all detainees to freedom that it vows will be enjoyed by the country and the people soon. The Alliance calls on international organizations to move quickly to stop the bloodshed perpetrated by the coup regime and its security agencies against forcibly disappeared citizens. The Alliance further reiterates its rejection of all unjust verdicts issued by coup courts.

The Alliance underlines the urgency of closing ranks and rallying for the objectives of the January Revolution and its legitimate demands, in the hope of restoring national unity and achieving development and prosperity of our dear homeland Egypt and stopping the high prices and all violations of human rights.

Victory for the Revolution
