Muslim Brotherhood Statement on the Terrorist Attack on Marmina Church

Muslim Brotherhood Statement on the Terrorist Attack on Marmina Church

The Muslim Brotherhood strongly condemns the terrorist attack on  Marmina Church in Helwan, south of Cairo, which took place today [Friday, December 29, 2017], despite the announcement by the military coup authorities of unprecedented security measures to protect churches and vital installations around the country.

In condemning this heinous incident, the Muslim Brotherhood reaffirms its firm position in condemning and rejecting any form of terror, regardless of its perpetrators, while condemning the military coup junta that gives the utmost priority to its own security at the expense of citizens’ security and country’s security; thus exposing churches and mosques to such heinous terror crimes.

The Muslim Brotherhood appeals to the Egyptian people in all spectrums to stand together to defeat any despicable attempt to drag the country into sectarian strife.

May God save Egypt and its people from all evil.
