Muslim Brotherhood’s media spokesman, Dr. Talaat Fahmy, reiterated the group’s position regarding the so called “presidential elections” taking place in Egypt, where the coup leader, General Abdul Fattah al Sisi, is seeking his re-election, in a farce and theatrical elections, stressing that the Muslim Brotherhood doesn’t recognize any legitimacy for the head of the current military regime, who came to power through a bloody military coup against the democratically elected and legitimate president of Egypt, Dr. Mohamed Morsi

Fahmy added that " The Muslim Brotherhood’s position is to establish a democratic pluralistic system of governance that allows the peaceful transition of power to serve the interests of the people and the nation, and therefore all actions and measures taken by the current regime since the July 3rd military regime are null and void, including Sisi’s previous and current presidential elections”

Fahmy’s statements came in response to questions from
Anatolia news  agency.
