‘Students Against The Coup’ Welcomes New Coalitions Working for Revolution Goals

The Students Against The Coup (SAC) movement announced it welcomed the founding of new groups and coalitions on the road of the Revolution, to help achieve its objectives, in reference to the ‘Egypt Students’ coalition inaugurated recently.
In a statement Wednesday, SAC’s political office expressed hope that every new coalition will strengthen the overall student movement in squares across Egypt, and not be limited to a mere ‘media’ role, which alone does not achieve much. SAC further added that fulfilling student demands requires action on the ground, and necessitates sacrifice for goals.
SAC affirmed that its hand is open to all serious and honest attempts for participation in the revolutionary student movement against the repressive military state which targets students’ lives and freedoms.
Furthermore, SAC reiterated that it belongs to the Revolution and the revolutionaries, solely governed by principles, with no special affiliations, stressing that claims it confines the student movement to a particular faction are utter lies.
