150 Irish intellectuals call for boycotting Israel
150 Irish intellectuals declared their cultural boycott of Israel as an act of solidarity with the Palestinian people’s rights and until Israel respects international law.
This cultural boycott includes: not to implement any events and activities with Israel’s participation, or even acceptance of any financing for any cultural events by Israeli institutions.
The Palestinian Irish Campaign of Cultural Boycott of Israel “IPSC” urged this boycott and said that the boycott came in protest of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinian people, and it comes in response to a statement issued by the Israeli Foreign Ministry in 2005 that culture is a mean of propaganda.
