3 Sharqiya Brothers Arrested

The Egyptian regime arrested two brothers affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The two brothers: Mohamed Ibrahim Al Kordi (nicknamed: Adel Al Kordi) and his brother Hassan Ibrahim Al Kordi (nicknamed : Al-Sayyed AlKordi) who live in Minshiat Sadoun, Bilbeis, Sharqiya, north of Cairo, were arrested on Thursday.
It is worth mentioning that their third brother, Ahmed Ibrahim Al Kordi, was detained after Adha Feast and was sent to Burj Al-Arab prison in which he is still held since then; the three brothers work in trade and free business.
In the same context, Mr. Mohamed Kamel Atiya, an instructor in the Ministry of Education, was detained last Wednesday from Bilbeis on charge of “belonging to an outlawed group.”
For his part, Dr. Farid Ismail, a member of the People’s Assembly (the lower chamber of Egyptian parliament) for Sharqiya, said these ongoing sweeps of arrests are of no benefit to the country; they only lead to more instability and lack of security in Egypt.
Ismail pointed out that the fierce attack against leaders and members of the Muslim Brotherhood, the biggest opposition group in parliament (claims fifth of the seats), confirms that the Egyptian regime plans to rig the referendum on the constitutional amendments and rig also the coming elections of the Shura Council (the upper chamber of the parliament) scheduled next April .
This raises to 35 the number of Muslim Brotherhood detainees from Sharqiya .
