4 Aswan citizens arrested for interacting with members of the Brotherhood Movement.
Aswan General’s Prosecution decided that 4 citizens remain detained for a further 15 days after brutal raids were carried out by security services on their houses under the pretexts that they were linked to the Brotherhood!”
Forces confiscated computers and books and disheveled the contents of the houses, all while alarming the children and women.
The Citizens who were detained include:
Tamer Mohammed Abdel-Hameed (Maintenance Technician at High Dam Power Station)
Khalid Hamid Abdul Ghafar (Aviation Technician at Aswan Airport)
Ahmed Ragab Abdel-Radi (chemist at Drinking Water Treatment Plant)
Abdullah Abu al-Abbas Ahmad (administrative at Aswan Ambulance).
It is worth mentioning that the first defendant is the son of the first generation founder of the Muslim Brotherhood’s ideology in Aswan who died in 1990. The security services seized all religious books of his father’s book collection asking the young man while they overturned the contents of the house about his father’s companions and asking his mother whether her son believes and adopts his father’s ideology or not?
