42MB Candidates are to Stand for Run-off Vote


According to the official election commissions of the parliamentary election, held on nov.9th, the results, in the six governorates, in which the Moslem Brotherhood has nominees, are as following:


 


1-     Cairo:


In el-Sahal district, Dr, Hazem Faroq, the Moslem Brotherhood nominee, and Ali Radwan, the National Democratic Party candidate, will stand for re-election. In Abden district, Gamal Hanafy, the MB candidate, and Tal’at el-Quas, the NDP nominee, will contest for a run-off poll. In el-Tebeen district, a re-election will be held between the MB nominee, Ali Fatah el-Bab, and the NDP, Muhammad Mustafa. In el-Nozha district, the Moslem Brotherhood candidate, Magdy Ashore, and the NDP nominee, Omar Abdullah Refa’y will contest for a re-election. In Miser el-Qadeema district, Yusreey Bayumy, the MB nominee will contest for a run-off poll.


 


2-     Giza:


In Giza district, re-election is needed between the MB candidate, Azab Mustafa, and the NDP nominee, Bader Mahross. In Kardassa district, the MB candidate, Abdel Salam Bashandy, and an independent candidate will stand for run-off election. In Mazgona district, Ahmed Abdo, the MB nominee, and Essam Abu el-Magd, the NDP candidate, will run for       re-election. In el-Harm district, Hamed el-Said, the MB nominee, will contest the independent, Magdy Khatab, in run-off poll.


 


3-     Bany Soaf Governorate:


In Bany Soaf district, Dr. Hamdy Zaher, the MB nominee, and Abu el-Kher Abdel Allam, the NDP candidate, will be re-elected. In Samada district, a run-off election will be held between the MB candidate, Hamdy Fared, and the NDP nominee, Muhammad Farid. 


 


4-     el-Monofiya Governorate:


In Ashmon district, both candidates of the MB, Bader el-Dean, and the NDP, Samir el-Saqa, will stand for re-election. In Astahna district, the MB candidate, Yasser el-Meligy, and the independent, Mustafa Auad, will contest for a run-off vote. In Tala district, re-election will be held between the MB candidate, Hansen el-Swaf, and the independent nominee, Muhammad el-Sadat. The same state applies to Quesna district. In el-Shohada district, four candidates will be re-elected.


 


 


5-     el-Meniya Governorate:


In Bander el-Meniya district, a re-election between the MB candidate, Dr. Muhammad el-Kataniny, and the Tagamoa Party nominee, Wageeh Shokry, is needed. In Makhakha district, the MB candidate, Dr. Ibraheem Zanon, and the NDP nominee, Ahmed Imbaby, will run for re-election. In Bany Mazar district, run-off election will be held among four candidates. In Matay district, the MB candidate, Tharwat Abdel el-Fatah, and the independent nominee, Mo’taz Safwat, will contest for run-off poll. In el-Adoa district, four candidates will run for re-election.  


 


6-     Assute Governorate:


 


In Assute district, a re-election will be held between the MB nominee, Khaled Oada, and the NDP candidate, Muhammad el-Sahafy. In Manfalot district, the MB candidate, Dr. Muhammad Abdel Rezaq, and the independent nominee, Helmy Thabet will stand for a run-off poll.
