67% of Egyptians Believe Military Tribunal for MB Leaders Unjust

In a recent poll conducted by the Arab Network for Human Rights, 67.53% of Egyptians surveyed rejected the military tribunal for Muslim Brotherhood leaders and called it “unjust and unfair””, only 15% supported the trials. 18.43% participated in the poll stated they were not aware of the trials and could not give an opinion.

Human rights organizations and activists from around the world have strongly criticized the military tribunals for MB leaders who are civilians. International observers were prevented by Egyptian government from attending trial sessions which ended last month and a verdict is expected on March 25th.

The 40 MB leaders on trial were acquitted three times by civilians courts which dismissed all charges against them calling them “politically motivated”
