An instant statement by MB Leader, Muhammad Mahdi Akef, that came to express Muslim brotherhood’s position on the blast as the leader said, ’ these bombings has nothing to do with religion and for whatever reasons this act was carried out it should be condemned and it shows lack of understanding on current affairs and religious beliefs.

Islam is a religion that insures for every humanbeing, whatever his religious background or ethencity might be, well being, physical safety and wealth. He also pointed at Islam’s position on sacredness of humanbeing’s blood and soul.

‘This action is targeted at Egypt’s stability and internal security and we offer our condolences to the people hit by the bomb, wither Foreigners or Egyptians, and our prayers for Egypt’s peace and stability.’ Akef added.
