Abbas’ militias prevent WB rocket launch

The Hebrew daily Ma’ariv said that the militias arrested a resistance cell and  the locally made rocket two weeks ago and delivered the rocket to the Israeli army.

The paper claimed that the cell members confessed to being members in the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, who  planned to fire the rocket at an Israeli target.

The Israeli army radio noted that cooperation between the Fatah-controlled militias and the Israeli army was progressing  under the supervision of the American Gen. Keith Dayton.

Abbas’s militias rounded up five supporters of the Hamas Movement in the districts of Ramallah, Jenin, Al-Khalil and Qalqilia, according to Hamas statement in the West Bank said on Tuesday.
