Activists supporting Palestinians clash with security forces.

Clashes between security forces and activists took place after demonstrations in Cairo. Protestors surprised forces after gathering within walking distance of the Israeli Embassy to commemorate the first anniversary of the Israelis attack on Gaza uniting in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians and in particular the Gazans who were under siege.
Slogans including “Viva Viva Palestine”, and “Freedom for Palestine” were chanted by the protestors in objection to the barbaric and unjust measures practiced against the Palestinians.
Banners were raised by the activists who wore green t-shirts reading “Free Palestine’ “Open the borders”, “We want to go to Palestine”, “Obama is an Israeli ally”. Without doubt it is the Palestinians who have activists as their allies. One day there voice will be heard; one day there voice will be heeded.
