Akef Appeals For Solidarity With Palestinian & Lebanese People

Muslim Brotherhood Chairman Mohammed Mahdi Akef made an appeal to the world, especially those who value principles of freedom, righthousness, justice and humanity; to stand in solidarity with the oppressed and impoverished people all over the world, saying that these principles are enshrined in Islam and Judaism and Christianity as well as moral obligation toward humanity. He called on the world to extend genuine aid to the Lebanese and Palestinian people just as it does with victims of natural disasters, famines and epidemics, considering the Israeli aggression as "a disaster which the world  has to step in to put an end to the crimes committed by the Israeli criminals"

The Muslim Brotherhood Chairman reiterated his appeal to whom he called the freedom- loving people worldwide by drawing their attention to a likely serious health disaster among the Palestinian and Lebanese people, saying that ’scores of bodies are still under the rubbles at a time when the ambulances and civil defense teams cannot rescue victimes or retrive bodies of the dead due to the unstopping Israeli bombardment". Mr.Akef warned that the food shortage and continuation of the Israeli aggression could hasten this human disaster. The MB Chairman appealed to all donors and the aid agencies worldwide to step in and secure food and medical aid to the war- hit  people in Palestine and Lebanon.
