Akef Offers Iranian President His Condolences Over Earthquake

Mr. Mohamed Akef, MB Chairman, sent a telegram on Friday to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, expressing his condolences over the earthquakes that hit western Iran killing tens and wounding hundreds others.


“I extend my condolences and support to the Iranian people in general and victims’ families in particular; praying to almighty to have mercy on the souls of those killed in this trajedy and bestow His speedy recovery on those who have been injured”


Three earthquakes hit Iran’s western areas around the cities of Doroud and Borujerd in the Lorestan province early Friday, killing at least 70 people and wounding more than 1200, Iranian officials said.
