Al Shater Appeals to Palestinian Factions To End Violence

Muslim Brotherhood’s  Deputy Chairman, Mr. Khairat el Shater released a statement Sunday October 1, 2006, on the heel of news of bloody clashes which took place among different Palestinian factions, calling on all parties to exercise self-restraint and not to be dragged by foreign parties that aim at igniting a civil war in  Palestin.

The MB leader reminded the Palestinians of the constants established by Palestinian covenants and agreements, which prohibit shedding the Palestinian blood and not to resort to force in resolving internal conflicts.

He also called on all governments, and the Arab and Muslim ones in particular to step in to put an end to such a chaos in the Palestinian arena and to help the Palestinian people overcome their ordeal “which would only work against the Palestinian cause”.
