Al Shater’s Trial Session Adjourned till Next Tuesday, Wife to ICU
The Military tribunal adjourned till next Tuesday, Nov,20th, its session in the trial against forty Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders.
Sunday”s session, the 33rd in the seventh military trial against the group, lasted 6 hours.
Al Shater”s Wife to ICU
During today”s session, Mrs Azza, wife of engineer Khairat Al-Shater the second deputy chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood, fell inside the courtroom and was accordingly sent to hospital.
Her daughter, Zahraa Al Shater, said that doctors told her that her mother developed a stroke and that she is receiving treatment inside the intensive care unit.
Zahraa pointed out that this incident reflects the injustices facing engineer Khairat Al-Shater”s family and families of other detainees facing this unfair trial .
It is worth mentioning that engineer Khairat Al-Shater is suffering, along with several MB detaines, from several diseases which have even worsened due to medical neglect inside prison.
Sunday”s Trial session
During Sunday”s session, Al Shater accused the financial committee, that prepared both financial reports related to the case, of premeditatedly plotting against and defaming the financial statuses of the MB leaders referred to the military tribunal and of distorting their image in front of the public opinion and overblowing the size of their properties.
Al Shater accused Ahmed Hassan, a member of this financial committee which includes experts from the illicit gain administration, of intentionally hiding some information and of intentionally stopping short of declaring that he depended on reports of the technical committees.
The court decided to adjourn its session till Tuesday to continue interrogating other members of the financial committee.
