Alexandria: Arrests continue even during Eid.
Prosecutor general Adel Emara ordered a 15 day detention to 7 members of the Muslim Brotherhood movement who were arrested at dawn. The group had their houses barbarically raided by State Security forces and was arrested and transferred to an unknown location.
Defense Lawyer Khalaf Bayoumy stated that the men were detained under allegations that they were planning a demonstration after the Eid prayers. Detainees include Bassam Bahr and Ahmad Saleh along with others. Two men were absent at the time of the raid on their homes.
