Aljazeera Poll: Muslim Brotherhood No Threat to Egypt’s Security

The majority of participants in a recent AlJazeera online poll believe that the Muslim Brotherhood group doesn’t pose any threat to Egypt. AlJazeera.net ran the poll from January 20-23 asking participants to vote whether or not they approve president Mubarak warning against the danger of the Muslim Brothehood to Egypt.

More than 83% of the roughly 33,000 who participated in the poll disagreed with the President statements.

This poll is considered one of evidences to prove that the Muslim Brotherhood does not pose any real threat to Egypt, while the biggest threat is the Egyptian authoritarian regime that has thrown about 20000 political detainees behind bars, according to observers.
