Arrest Warrants for Eight Alex Muslim Brothers

Ministry of Interior ordered the arrest of eight Muslim Brothers from Alexandria despite being acquitted by Criminal and Misdemeanor courts. Security forces have arrested them after a peaceful rally in Alexandria organized by the MB and political forces against disrespect of judicial decisions of placing the MB candidates’ names in local elections candidate list. Prosecution of eastern Alexandria has passed a decision of jailing them pending investigation on Wednesday April 2, 2008 among 12 MBs from Alexandria after accusing them of usual charges and eventually they were moved to Burj al-Arab prison. Detainees are: Mohamed Kamal, Ahmad Riyadh, Abu-Alhajjaj Mohamed Khamees, Mahrough Abdul-Fattah, Farid Mohamed al-Shayyeb, Hamzah Ibrahim Anwar, and Nabil Mohamed Mahmoud.
