Defense Team To Hold Press Conference on Tuesday

The defense team in the MB military trial will hold an international press conference at the Bar Association on Monday June 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM.


The press conference is a reaction to the government’s decision to prevent foreign observers and human rights organizations from attending the second session of the military trial for MB leaders.


Among those who have been denied an access to the court building are, former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark, Canadian Faisal Kotli, Haitham Mannaa Vice President of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, Haseeba Hag Sahrawi, Vice President of the Middle-East and North Africa Dept. at Amnesty International, and the Jordanian Human Rights activist Anees Qasem, in addition to several members of the Human Rights Watch, and Egyptian Human Rights organizations
