The London-based Society of Abrar (Pious People) declared organizing a seminar in cooperation with the society of Risalat Al-Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood Message), to discuss the preliminary version of the Muslim Brotherhood"s (MB) Party program that the group presented to a group of intellectuals and journalists plus MB officials in a number of countries .

Abrar declared that the seminar will be held next Saturday evening, Oct, 27th, 2007 , and it will include Dr. Mohamed Saad Al Katatni, the head of the MB parliamentary bloc in Egypt , in addition other top intellectuals, the most prominent of them are: Rashid Al-Ghanoushi, Ali Bayanouni, Zohair Salem, Dr. Said Al Shehabi, Algerian parliamentarian Abd Al-Majid Al-Manasra.

For his part, Ibrahim Monir, the spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood in London ,  confirmed that copies of the MB party program draft has been sent to London and that he personally received a copy. He said he would likely send his comments and notes about this preliminary version to the MB Executive Office and MB Chairman instead of speaking to the media. He added that that the Muslim Brotherhood isn"t exclusively owned by Egypt alone to keep its party program from MBs abroad, specially that this program has views that aren"t related only to the Egyptian case.

Monir saw that the MB"s sending a preliminary version of its party platform to some intellectuals and journalists is a goodwill gesture which hasn"t been carried out by any party in the modern history .

London "s MB spokesman said:" Taking into consideration the social and psychological milieu is a prelude for bringing closer views. Therefore, there emerged a mix-up between making public the MB party program and distributing it among the Muslim Brotherhood intellectuals in other countries. This is because the program focuses in the first place on the Egyptian case, without dig deepening views to be in line with conditions in other countries".

Monir quoted president Mubarak"s interview in the French Le Monde in 1992, when he described the Muslim Brotherhood as a group that works within the legal limits and he quoted Ahmed Galal Ezzuddin- a state security brigade who works an anti-terrorism expert in the United Nations- as he declared that the Muslim Brotherhood protected Egyptian youth from adopting violence or terrorism swirl. Monir saw these testimonies as an alive evidence on the quality of the political performance of the Muslim Brotherhood which managed to keep it its call, message and discourse moderate. This makes us be sure that this program will eventually be a reflection of all MB offshoots in other countries.
