Egyptian Movement for Change "Kifaya": No To Trying Civilians Before Mlitary Tribunal

Egyptian Movement For Change "Kifaya" denounces this unjustified return to referring civilians in front of military justice. The movement considers involving the Armed Forces in political disputes to harm the opposition is a violation to the simplest rights of constitutional principles. This also offends the Armed Forces that shouldn’t get involved in any domestic disputes and to focus on defending homeland and its sovereignty .

The movement sees that targeting any political power with such unjust measure is an aggression against all Egyptian.  The movement confirms that trying the 34 Muslim Brotherhood leaders in front of the military tribunal is actually a trial for all the political life and opposition in front of an incompetent judge an unacceptable violation to freedoms .

The movement calls for showing solidarity through adopting all peaceful forms and means to clear Egypt of the shame of trying citizens in front of military courts. Kifaya demands immediately releasing the MB leaders to implement the several court acquittals issued by competent courts .
