Five Palestinians were killed in IOF shelling on the southern Gaza Strip district of Khan Younis including four of one family along with a resistance fighter.

Medical sources in Nasser hospital in Khan Younis city said that Karima Fayyad, 55, her daughter Asmaa and her sons Sami and Ahmed were killed in an IOF shelling of their home while a number of other children were wounded in addition to the father Hamdan Fayyad.

They told PIC correspondent that an IOF missile slammed into their home causing the bloodbath.

A member of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, was also killed on Thursday and others were wounded in IOF air raids east of Khan Younis.

Medical sources earlier told PIC that seven resistance fighters, mostly affiliated with the Qassam Brigades, were wounded in the series of IOF air raids on that same area.

Meanwhile, in the West Bank large numbers of IOF soldiers stormed the city mounting tens of armored vehicles amidst intensified shooting in all directions wounding 22 people in the process.

Local sources said that the soldiers barged into the city in 80 armored vehicles and imposed a curfew before advancing into Balata refugee camp and launching a large-scale search operation in civilian homes.

Many citizens were detained and underwent field interrogation as sounds of bullets and explosions were heard in the Old City of Nablus.

Two young men were kidnapped in the refugee camp, locals said, adding that the soldiers broke into Rafidia hospital and sealed it off.

IOF sources said that the incursion was routine work regularly launched in various West Bank areas.
