MP Saeed Siyam, the head of the Hamas parliamentary bloc, on Monday revealed that coordination between certain quarters in the PA leadership in Ramallah, its former security elements in the Gaza Strip and the IOA was ongoing to carry out Israeli threats of assassinating politicians affiliated with Hamas atop of them premier Ismail Haneyya.
MP Siyam, whom Israeli ministers also called for assassinating, did not rule out the existence of cooperation between those who masterminded the previous botched attempt to assassinate Haneyya and the Israeli intelligence, underlining that Hamas takes the current Israeli threats seriously.
The lawmaker pointed out that the picture about the attempted assassination of Haneyya became clear despite the escape of some criminals to Egypt, adding that the confessions of the detained criminals will be broadcast soon.
The MP underscored that Egypt was provided twice with detailed information about the attempted assassination and the criminals who fled to its lands, adding that the Egyptian officials promised to study the information and to take legal action against anyone involved. |
