Security forces at Desouq constituency barred MB candidate Ragab El Banna from holding a popular conference on Thursday as part of his electoral campaign, Ikhwanweb reporters said.

Dosouq security commander refused to allow for the conference because of superior orders to bar any electoral propaganda, as he said.

Muslim Brotherhood candidates complained from Security"s double standards in dealing with candidates. Electoral banners belonging to the MB candidates are removed while the ruling NDP candidates do not face any kind of harassment.

Ruling NDP candidates are always allowed to hold conferences escorted by the security forces.
