Prosecutors of Kafr El Sheikh released Muslim Brotherhood member Wafa Hegazy (a merchant) on September 14, 2008.

Prosecutors of Kafr El Sheikh released Muslim Brotherhood member Wafa Hegazy (a merchant) on September 14, 2008.

Hegazy was arrested by Security forces of Kafr El Sheikh governorate at Al Borollos center on September 13, at night. Residents denounced this, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.

The arrest was due to the local councils elections in last April, when Hegazy was wanted.

After his arrest, Hegazy was detained at Al Borollos police station until September 14, in the morning, and then a security state officer took him to Kafr El Sheikh security directorate, where he was presented to prosecutors at night, they ordered to release him and he has already been released.
