The Palestinian media forum and the Palestinian journalist bloc strongly denounced the PA security apparatuses and the IOF troops for kidnapping journalists, calling for participating in the protest to be held opposite the PLC Thursday in solidarity with the journalist detained in PA and Israeli jails.

In two separate statements received by the PIC, the media forum and the journalist bloc condemned Wednesday the security apparatuses under the command of PA chief Mahmoud Abbas for kidnapping Palestinian journalist Tariq Shahab, the reporter of the Aqsa voice radio station, calling for ending such arbitrary acts against journalist and enabling them to assume their lofty message.

The statement also condemned the IOF troops for kidnapping on Tuesday three journalists working for Al-Wattan TV channel in Qalqilia as they were covering the assaults committed by Israeli settlers on Palestinian farmers during olive harvest.
