Khudari calls on Ban Ki-moon to visit Gaza

MP Jamal Al-Khudari, the head of the popular committee against the siege, invited Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary-general, to visit the Gaza Strip and assume his huamanitarian responsibilities towards one and a half million people living under occupation, aggression and siege.

In a speech during a scout rally organized by the committee, MP Khudari highlighted that Israel uses the ugliest means to besiege Gaza, pointing out that Israel imposes blockade on food, aid for poor citizens, electricity, medicine and all necessities of life in Gaza.

The lawmaker underlined that the Gaza conditions need taking real action through imposing pressure and sanctions on the Israeli occupation to stop its criminal war on Gaza.

Khudari stressed that the UN and the international community must intervene to stop Israel”s inhumane practices against the Gaza people, calling on the Arab and Islamic countries to shoulder their responsibilities towards the Gaza people and not to leave them facing the Israeli occupation alone.
