3 Sharqiya MBs Released, 4 Others Remain in Custody

Egyptian authorities released three MB members while four others are still detained although they are acquitted by court.
 
The Egyptian authorities released on Saturday at noon, April, 7, 2007, three Muslim Brotherhood (MB) members who were among those detained on the fourth day of Al-Adha Feast as part of a huge sweep of arrests against the group in Sharqiya. They were moved to Wadi Al-Natrun prison 2 although the court acquitted them.
 
South Cairo Criminal Court issued on Monday April, 2, 2007, the second acquittal for releasing Wadi Al-Natrun detainees :

1- Mohsen Anwar Ali Qahwa- Owner and manger of Engineering Company For Electronics- Zagazig
2- Osama Ibrahim Ahmed Ashour- Employee at Azhar district-Zagazig
3- Mohamedi Saad – Inspector at Ministry of Trade- Zagazig
 
The three MB members have returned home safely.
It’s worth mentioning that the Egyptian authorities have released early last week 20 Sharqiya MB members, who were detained in the feast sweeps.
 
In a related context, there are three Muslim Brotherhood members who are still detained by the state security in Zagazig although the Zagazig appeals court and Kafr Saqr appeals court
acquitted them:

 
1- Abd Rab Al-Nabi Al-Sayyed Mohamed- Zagazig
2-Mahmoud Abul Fattouh Qishta- A deputy at the Education Department for Personnel- Menia El Kameh
3-Ahmed Solaiman Mohamed Shoail- engineer – Hosneya Fakous
4-Mohamed Mahmoud Mousa Omar- Al Hosneya
