13 Damanhour Muslim Brotherhood Figures Arrested
Egyptian security forces in Beheirah arrested on Tuesday night 13 Muslim Brotherhood figures in the city Damanhur in the house of Tajuddin Mostafa Abdul Latif, the manager of the legal affairs at Bandar Damanhur educational district. They were taking part in the Aqeeqah (naming ceremony) of his granddaughter.
 The security forces broke into the house, arrested everyone and move them the State Security Service in Damanhur. After arresting them, the forces also searched and sent to disarray houses of the guests and siezed their PCs. The forces also insulted some of the families of the detainees including Tawfik”s Shaaban”s wife who was assaulted and beaten when she demanded a search warrant. The detainees include:

1-Tajuddin Mostafa Abdul Latif, manager of the legal affairs at Bandar Damanhur educational district

2-Mahmoud Abu Zeid, a tax collector in Alexandria
 3-Salah Hassan Salama, a financial affairs manager
4- Ramzi Mohamed Al-Harreef, chairman of Azhar institute
5-Hossam Abdul Fattah Al-Qit, an accountant at the Engineers Syndicate
6-Essam Sayed Abou Haris, insecticide merchant
7-Fathi Yassin Kalash, manager of the legal affairs department at the agricultural administration in Damanhur
8-Samir Saad Nofal, a teacher at mechanical industrial school in Damanhur
9-Muhammad Abdel Latif Abu Taweelah, a lawyer
10- Mohamed Sweidan
11-Mohamed Mahmoud Khattab, a legal accountant
12-Shaban Tawfik Zaki, a tax collector in Alexandria
 
For his part, Mohamed Sweidan, chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood”s administrative office in Beheira, urged the Muslim Brotherhood community in the governorate to remain restive and be patient because this repeated method of detention of innocent people, intimidation of children and beating of women will never sway freemen from maintaining the true path.
