Muslim Brotherhood MP Dr. Hazem Farooq strongly condemned “a visit by high profile U.S. delegation” to the Egyptian-Palestinian borders and the Rafah crossing border amid complete secrecy and accompanied by Egyptian top security officials.

In a request for investigation submitted to the People’s Assembly president, MP Farooq said the Egyptian officials showed the U.S. delegation some of what they call “seized evidence” they found while monitoring fuel and merchandise smuggling to Gaza.
