University Guards arrested member of the April 6 Youth movement and Ain Shams Arabic Language freshmen student Ahmed Samir.

Samir was arrested while distributing a statement requesting legal fees and condemning the selling of university calendars to a telecommunications company.

Security further wrote a memo against the student to pave the way for transferring him to investigations.

This incident is considered the first confrontation between the April 6 Youth movement and the government since the former called on an all-inclusive peaceful public strike on the upcoming April 6, similar to the one held on the same day last year.
