The MB stressed that “we judge things based on its results, and we will comment on the visit after it concludes, since the program of the visit, its nature and objectives have not been publicized yet”.

The MB also criticized the state of emergency declared in Egypt since 1981, and the government crackdown on civil liberties. It reiterated, however, that the Egyptian people are standing together in the face of all attempts of foreign hegemony, and they refuse [Egyptian people] normalization with the Zionist regime in Israel.
